No one ever told me that I'd never get to see you, Even if they had, man, I wouldn't have believed you I'm bound to what's mine, I'm doin' hard time, I'm livin' out of mind with you, but with that said, I gotta say that I'm feelin' so much better these days, Some things they stay the same, always, I gotta say that I'm feelin' so much better these days, Some things they stay the same, always, Boy, things are different than when I was a kid! Oh, I see the people linin' up and they wanna see the freak show, and I'd be a fool to let them down...but with that said, I gotta say that I'm feelin' so much better these days, Some things they stay the same, always, I gotta say that I'm feelin' so much better these days, Some things they stay the same, always, These are the days that we won't get back, the ones we don't deserve, Because the memory's gone, No, it's never preserved, I gotta say that I'm feelin' so much better these days, Some things they stay the same, always, I gotta say that I'm feelin' so much better these days, Some things they stay the same, always, Always Always Always Always Always Always

I know your name, you're not the same, Does it even matter? Will it ever matter? I know we'll never be the same....(x2) Oh, you don't care, you're never there... Does it even matter? Will it ever matter? I know we'll never be the same...(x2) You ride me then you go, I'm not your rodeo....(x2)

Tell me why, I can't try... 'Cause every time you're near me, I have to keep my hands to myself... ...baby, why? We used to be together, so go ahead and tell me why, I can't try... 'Cause every time you're near me, I have to keep my hands to myself... ...baby, why? Why?

The lonely have the silence, the liars have the truth, the shadows have the darkness... ...can't I have you You... The clouds have the white, the ocean has the blue, the shadows have the darkness... ...can't I have you You... The shadows have the darkness... ...can't I have you Can't I have you Can't I have you Can't I have you

The answer tends to show itself, to people in a bind, Salvation, it passed my doorstep, so I must be doing fine, Rip the shades and open up the curtains i can feel it already, My nose has started bleeding from all the things that I'm forgetting, These things are never letting me sleep, no, Now you're making this, all too easy, You know she always took the blame, Yeah she always wanna go drinkin', I say it always tastes the same, I never worried much, yes no yes yes, I have another body, Never worried much, yes yes yes, i have another body, The answer tends to show itself, to people in a bind, Salvation passed my doorstep, so we all must be doing fine I guess I'm doin' fine... Rip the shades and open up the curtains i can feel it already, My nose has started bleeding from all the things that I'm forgetting, Now you're making this, all too easy, You know she always took the blame, Yeah she always wanna go drinkin', I say it always tastes the same, It tastes the same every time... Oh well! Never worried much, no no no no... Never worried much, i have another body! The answer tends to show itself...

All of this weight, Will drag us down, Are you lookin for love? Are you lookin’ for friends? Just tell me the truth babe, Then tell me again, You’ve been callin’ it pride, I don’t think that you lied, You’re everywhere that I wanna go… My love is here, And it don’t go away My love is here, And it never betrays My love is here, No, it don’t go away, My love is here…

I love you more and more, I saw you at the store, You said we'd still be friends, You said we'd still be friends forever more Don't you lie, (Don't you lie) when you cry? (When you cry) Don't you just lie forever more. I love you more and more, I saw you at the store, You said we'd still be friends, You said we'd still be friends forever more Don't you lie, (Don'y you lie) when you cry? (When you cry) I think you'll lie forever more.

Rob, it'll be okay, it's darkest before the day, But if you can be stronger, for a little bit longer, the pain'll just fade away. Now, we could be mad at God, or we could sit down and pray. Just know that your friends are here, and know that they're here to stay. Rob, it'll be okay, I know that it's hard to say, but the love from a brother, takes the pain from another, so sing with me as I play.

Ah, there's just so many people, I can never tell which ones are good, Which ones are evil, But they're beautiful, so I don't mind. Yeah, they're wonderful, I think I'll take my time. All things considered, You were everything, you were everything. Ah, there's just too many voices, I'm forever paralyzed by the choices, But they're beautiful, so I don't mind. Yeah, they're wonderful, I think I'll take my time, All things considered, you were everything, you were everything, All things considered, it wasn't all that bad, we gave it what we had.

Again 00:49
It never goes wrong, but it won't go right,
think about you all day, but never at night,
you wanted a diploma instead of a groom,
'cause ya Daddy kept you locked inside of your room,

You wrote me a letter to tell me you're gone,
but you cried on the paper, so I couldn't respond,
I wanna leave Heaven to be in your Hell,
you say you just turned thirty, well I'm thirty as well,

Together we perpetrated every sin,
and now we just bumped into each other again;

I forget you cheat, you forget I lie,
so we both cry out, "Let's give it a try..."
I grab your hand, you gimme a kiss,
I say, "My whole damn life's been leadin' to this."
